Owners of the Swiss Half Fare Card receive a 50% discount on the purchase of tickets for train, bus, ship and some mountain railways valid for the whole of Switzerland during one month.

The offer of the Swiss Half Fare Card has been particularly adapted to the requirements of car travellers and offers a substantial cost advantage for holidaymakers travelling by car.

The Swiss Half Fare Card is valid for one month and in 2008 is available for a one-off payment of GBP 44,00 (99 Schweizer Franken)

Children aged 6-16 accompanied by at least one parent are free. Children not accompanied by parents receive a 50% discount. This discount is offset on purchasing.
